KNOWLEDGE PILGRIMAGE is a seasonal trip woven through the Himalayas and created for people seeking a sanctuary to dive deep into their practice and connect to the sacred places by meeting saints and revered souls.

The Spring Edition embraces and honours the heart of the spring season with the opening of the main temple of Ganga Ma (Gangotri Temple).

This 8-day, 16-day, and 21-day immersion invites you to gather in the sangha, surrendering fully into the fullness of this sacred, once-in-a-year experience — when the main deity is moved from the lower Himalayas (Harshil Valley) to the main temple on the mountain.

With a focus on Knowledge, we will engage in learning practices that deepen our connection to the Divine, Self, Devi Ma, our unique spiritual path, ourselves, and each other.

Each day unfolds with soulful, powerful practices that honour each individual's relationship with the Divine, inviting you to reconnect with inner silence and the River Ganga's energy.

    Swami Aniruddha

    GUIDE

    Swami Aniruddha is a devoted disciple of beloved guru Paramahamsa Vishwananda, whom he immediately recognized as his Satguru when they met. For over two decades he has walked the yogic path, sharing his experiences with a global audience on Instagram and YouTube. He is best known for leading pilgrimages through the Himalayas in search of saints and sages.

    On these journeys he emphasizes bhakti (devotion) and sangha (spiritual community), practicing together as he explains that "the essence of Sangha is walking together … guided by devotion, silence, and joy".

    In his teaching and retreats Swami Aniruddha blends traditional yogic practices with heartfelt worship. Daily programs often include Atma Kriya Yoga practice, satsang with OM chanting, kirtan (devotional music) and puja rituals in nature. This combination of yoga science and devotional celebration reflects his core message that every step on the path is sacred.

      Apr 26 — Haridwar Exploration & Spiritual Teachings

    • Explore Haridwar's temples, participate in morning prayers, and begin introductory sessions on Sanathana Dharma.

  • 27 April – Journey to Harshil


    Depart Haridwar in the morning, winding your way up to Harshil Valley. Check in to your mountain retreat.

    28 April – Nature & Temple Visits

    Journey to the sacred Gangotri Temple. Stand at the river’s source, take a purifying dip, and absorb the timeless energy of the Ganges.



    2 May – Departure & Trekking Split


    After a gentle morning meditation and farewell brunch, the group divides: some transfer back to Rishikesh or the airport, while the others continue on the high‑mountain trek to Gangotri → Gaumukh → Tapovan.

    • Depart Harshil on Day 8 to begin your five-day trek toward the snout of the Ganges at Gaumukh and the high-altitude meadows of Tapovan.

    • Each afternoon you’ll set up camp beside a mountain stream, unpack tents, and cook simple communal meals over an open fire.

    • Mornings bring guided yoga and breathwork overlooking glacial vistas, followed by devotional chanting and satsangs by Swami.

    • Hike across rocky ridges, explore the sacred ice caves at Gaumukh, and meditate in the pristine Tapovan meadows.

    • On Day 13, conclude the trek with a final sunrise gathering, then descend back toward Harshil.

  • You’ll return to the peaceful Harshil Valley, settle back into your retreat, and enjoy an evening yoga session. The nest day you depart Harshil after breakfast, winding your way down the mountains and through scenic villages toward Badrinath. On Day 16 you arrive in Badrinath, check in to your accommodation, and visit the sacred Badrinath Temple for the evening āratī.

    • We begin with a day in Badrinath — trek to the Vishnu‑pāda shrine, receive blessings from a local saint, dip in Tapt Kund hot springs, explore the bazaar streets, and gather for Swamiji’s powerful evening lecture.

    • Spend your second full day exploring Mana Village: wander its ancient streets, visit the Vyas and Ganesha Gufas, trek to Vasudhara Falls and soak in the mystic energy where the Mahabharata was said to be composed.

    • On your final morning, bathe in the Tapt Kund springs, join the Badrinath Temple āratī, then depart for Rishikesh.

  • Please book your flight to arrive at Dehradun Airport (DED) in Uttarakhand, India. This is the nearest airport to Haridwar, where our pilgrimage begins.

    Participants are responsible for arranging their round-trip international or domestic flights to and from Dehradun. Most international travelers fly into New Delhi (DEL) first and then take a short connecting flight to Dehradun (approx. 1 hour).

    Once you arrive at Dehradun Airport, our team will be there to receive you and escort you to the starting point of the journey.
